He took a deep drag on his cigarette, the smoke billowing toward the ceiling. His eyes narrowed as he slowly exhaled, never breaking eye contact with Emma.

"You know what they say about sharp tongues? They cut both ways."

He leaned forward slightly, resting his elbows on the table.

"One day, that tongue might just get you into more trouble than you can handle. Especially with someone like me."

He paused, taking another drag before standing up abruptly. The sudden movement caused the room to fall silent as his men straightened up instantly. Victor walked around the table, stopping behind Emma's chair.

He placed both hands on the backrest of Emma's chair, leaning down so his mouth was close to her ear. His voice dropped to a whisper, but everyone could still hear the dangerous undertones.

"And such a pretty mouth... it would be a shame if something happened to it."

Emma felt a shiver, but she didn't care.

"Prepare well for tomorrow's mission,"

she said sarcastically, emphasizing the word

" my enemy."

His men chuckled softly, finding Emma's attitude refreshing. One even muttered,

"No wonder the boss hasn't killed her yet."

Another added

, "She's the only woman who talks back to him like that."

Meanwhile, Victor threw his cigarette into the ashtray, watching Emma closely.

Victor smirked, revealing his pearly white teeth. He stood up straight, buttoning his suit jacket.

"Tomorrow's mission is simple. We infiltrate their territory and blow up their main headquarters."

He turned to his men, giving out orders and assignments. Suddenly, he paused and looked at Emma.

"Emma,"

he said, his tone commanding attention.

"You'll be coming with me tomorrow."

His men exchanged surprised glances but didn't question their boss's decision. Emma raised an eyebrow, clearly not expecting this development. Victor continued without waiting for her reaction,

"My personal protection detail will accompany us."
